Section A – Hardware Products

    1. Eligibility for Returns & Refunds
  • Return or refund requests must be submitted within 14 days of delivery.
  • Eligible if

  • Product is defective, damaged, or not as described
  • Product is unused and in original packaging (unless defective)
  • Not Eligible:

  • Damage due to misuse, improper installation, or unauthorized modifications
  • Installation by third-party contractors not approved by Chargnex
  • Used consumables or accessories
  • Requests made after the return window
  • 2. Return Process
  • Email support-ca@chargnex.com with:
    Order details
    Invoice
    Description of issue (photos/videos if applicable) (photos/videos if applicable).
  • Once approved, Chargnex Inc will:
    Arrange pickup or
    Provide return shipping instructions
  • Returned products may be inspected before final approval
  • 3. Refund Method & Timeline
  • Refunds will be issued to the original payment method (credit/debit card or payment provider)
  • Processing time: 7–10 business days after approval
  • Notes:

  • Shipping and installation charges are non-refundable, unless the issue is caused by Chargnex
  • Restocking fees may apply for non-defective returns (if permitted)
  • 4. Order Cancellations
  • Orders can be cancelled before dispatch or before installation begins
  • If cancelled:

  • After dispatch but before delivery, Shipping charges may apply
  • After installation:
    Installation fees are non-refundable
    De-installation (if requested) is charged to the customer

Section B – EV Charging Services

    1. Refunds for Charging Sessions

    Eligible:

  • Charging did not start → Full refund if payment was deducted due to system fault
  • Charging interrupted due to charger fault → Proportional refund for unused energy/time
  • Session cancelled by Chargnex → Full refund
  • Example:

    If a session ends early due to a system issue, only the unused portion is refunded

    Not Eligible:

  • Change of plans, late arrival, or no-show
  • Minor interruptions that do not materially impact charging
  • Cancellations / Rescheduling
  • Allowed up to 30 minutes before the scheduled session without penalty
  • Late cancellations or no-shows may incur a cancellation or convenience fee (shown during booking)
  • 3. Refund Method & Timeline
  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method
  • Standard processing time: 5–10 business days
  • For partial refunds (interrupted sessions): 2–5 business days

  • Payment processing or banking fees may be deducted unless the issue is caused by Chargnex
  • Chargnex reserves the right to decline requests that do not meet this policy
  • This policy complies with applicable consumer protection laws in Canada (including provincial consumer protection regulations)

Chargnex is committed to providing a fair and transparent refund, return, and cancellation process. This policy applies to both hardware products and EV charging solutions purchased through www.chargnex.com.

Section A – Hardware Products

    1. Eligibility for Returns & Refunds
  • Refund/return requests must be raised within 7–14 days of delivery.
  • Eligible only if the product is defective, damaged, or not as described.
  • The product must be unused and in original packaging (unless defective).
  • Not Eligible:

  • Damage caused by misuse, improper installation (unless installed by us), or unauthorized modifications.
  • Consumables/accessories once used.
  • Requests made after the return window.
  • 2. Return Process
  • Email support@chargnex.com with order details, invoice, and issue description (photos/videos if applicable).
  • Once approved, we will arrange pickup or provide return instructions.
  • Products may be inspected before approval.
  • 3. Refund Method & Timeline
  • Refunds will be made only to the original UPI ID or Card used.
  • Standard refund time: 7–14 business days after approval.
  • Installation/delivery charges are non-refundable unless the product issue was caused by us.
  • 4. Order Cancellations
  • Cancellable before dispatch or before installation begins.
  • If cancelled after dispatch but before delivery, shipping charges may apply.
  • If cancelled after installation, installation charges are non-refundable, and de-installation costs are borne by the customer.

    1. Refunds for Charging Sessions
  • Charging did not start – Full refund if payment was deducted but session didn’t initiate due to our fault.
  • Charging stopped midway due to fault – Proportional refund for the unused portion of time/units will be processed within 2–3 business days.
  • The product must be unused and in original packaging (unless defective).
  • Example: If you booked for 60 minutes but session ended after 20 minutes, refund will be for the unused 40 minutes.
  • Session cancelled by Chargnex – Full refund.
  • Not Eligible:

  • Change of plan, late arrival, or no-show.
  • Minor delays or interruptions that did not prevent charging.
  • 2. Cancellations / Rescheduling
  • Allowed up to 30 minutes without penalty.
  • Late cancellations or no-shows may attract a convenience/cancellation fee, displayed during booking.**
  • 3. Refund Method & Timeline
  • Refunds are credited to the original UPI ID or card used.
  • Standard processing: 5–10 business days.
  • Exception: 2–3 business days for proportional refunds when charging stops midway due to our fault.

Section C – General Terms

  • Payment gateway/bank charges (if any) may be deducted unless the issue was on our side.
  • Chargnex may decline refund/return requests that don’t meet this policy.
  • This policy is governed by Indian law and does not affect your statutory consumer rights.
